Alpacas must be kept with other alpacas. If you buy only one alpaca at the auction and don’t have alpacas already, Ashill Alpacas will keep it for you (by arrangement) until you can purchase others.

All alpacas in this auction are covered from the fall of the hammer until 17.00pm on the following Monday with insurance from Armitage Livestock Insurance Agency Limited and a form will be provided to facilitate continuing this thereafter.

Any alpacas bought at the auction that you can’t take home on the day will be looked after at your own risk without charge for up to two weeks during which time the shearer (Colin Ottery) has agreed to shear them if required (£15 per alpaca). Thereafter they can be cared for by arrangement or delivered within 100 miles (60p per mile travelled).
